Actually, if seat still gets hot after you pulled the fuse, it could be that your seat
is wired incorrectly, either bypassing the fuse block or wired to another fuse by mistake. It would be unlikely, but not unheard of. Do you have a voltage tester? If so, with the fuse still out, set it for 12V and unplug the seat's molex connector and test the voltage there using the exposed terminals (be careful not to short). If you get voltage downstream from the fuse block, something is wrong with the wiring. It should be easy to trace the wiring from the seat back.
Remember, when troubleshooting, always work backwards.

I have wondered the same thing. I noticed that I experience the same thing in our other vehicle - and it does not have heated seats
