Driving to Whistler, BC next weekend any road tips?

I've heard that the drive is beautiful but can get crowded by tourists. Any tips on scenic, twisty roads off the beaten path? TIA

Wassap in Whistler?

Isn't that near the fossil beds? If so there is one neat drive . . . . I got some great images there!

Don't know about the fossil beds but so far the agenda is...

ATV riding into the mountains for a BBQ then back to the resort for massage and R&R. Not planning on doing much touring out of the resort but I'm willing to extend the to and from drive for cool stuff. I'll check out the fossil beds and see how close they are.
