DV problems on new 225TTCs?
Just ordered my 225C Aviator Grey with ebony interior yesterday. Does anyone know if they have fixed the DVs or at least working on a fix for the new TTs coming off the line now? Or should I expect to have the same problem come October when I am expecting to take delivery?(god does that seem like a long time!)

2900 rpm hum fix..as I posted earlier, official or not, my constantly "humming" 3600 mile 225 Coupe was cured by reversing the flow through the "g" sufix valve. It is now completely gone! Just reverse the two lines attached to the valve.

What I have experienced with various 225s...
I picked up my 225Q coupe on 7/1/00. I do not hear a distinct diverter valve noise. This is in sharp contrast to the 225Q coupe I test drove in March 2000. In that car, there was a distinct "goose-honking" noise as you shifted between 3-4000 RPMs from 1st to 2nd.
In my car, I only hear a slight sound as the car approaches 3000 RPMs. This might be a normal sound indicating the turbo kicking in. I hear no "goose-honking" under light or heavy acceleration in any gear.
All I can say is that there was a problem with the test driver I drove in March and none with my car. I can't make a broad statement about diverter valves--though there clearly is a problem with cars delivered upto the May timeframe.
I have 800 miles on my new car and love it--no problems large or small.
