DV..... is there a problem with it ???

I've read a lot of messages about DV problems ...
Is there any signal to discover if it is bad or not ??? ... I've a TTR 225... 2000 km and running ...

Depends on who you talk to (more)

A large number of forum members have replaced DVs (me included) that were operating within Audi's specifications.

Mine never started to fail so I can't speak firsthand about that. I'll let others talk about that.

I had a definite signal: the check engine light came on (happened at like 6500 miles)

Then the engine started making a fluttering noise (which I assumed was the turbo). Drove it home slow (<3000rpm) and to the dealer the next morning. They said the DV was the problem, took a week for a new one to come in (including the weekend though). Dealership paid for the rental.
