Do you offer a CAN-bus adaptor for 2000-2001 TTs with the concert I (tape player) or provide a recommended third party to obtain one?

I am afraid we don't. We are only recommending these as a direct replacement for the same unit already in your car.

Are they programmed with the BOSE firmware? Do you also provide the safe code?

Mine works fine and I already have a dice unit for my aux audio devices but as you know the buttons start to wear and for that price it's worth replacing.

These are the standard Audi concert units. However, at this price you could buy it and just us the buttons from it to replace your stock bose unit!

This unit can be programmed to Bose specifications using a VAG COM.

That is a very popular question, can you give a link to directions?

Launch Vagcom, has to be paid version to re-code, version 805. Go to radio module, click on coding, then there is a 5 digit code that comes up. A Vagcom pop up window will launch and tell you which digit needs to be changed for with or without Bose so only one of the five digits will have to be changed. After you change the number, hit "do-it" then your done. All of the later radios can be set up for with or without Bose, there isn't a different part # for the radios, just a change in the radio coding when setting them up, just as Basttion said. Once recoded the radio will say Bose for a few seconds after turning it on. And with Vagcom, if you don't want to see the Bose startup message after recoding, you can turn that off too, but you can leave it on and look cool.

Thank you for the update!

I received my package yesterday with the Concert Unit in it. Thanks for the great price and the quick turnaround. This was another great experience with ECS!
