ECU question
 

Man I'm just a sponge trying to absorb today. I am wondering if a "T" code ECU will work in my car even though mine is a "K" code. I have a 01 TT 225. Has anybody done this? Would I need to reflash the ECU on top of copying the immobilizer code? Again any input would help.

only the K will work for the car...the only interchangeable one I know of are the

Here a little treat...
My roommate read up on the Bimmer forum (E36 M3) about Mazda Revitup. Basically for $40 bucks you get some "chalk talk" and then they let you rip on a road course to see who sets the best time. The winner goes home with a new Mazda 6. I already registered for the session on July 26 at 9:40 in D.C. Can't be done. Here are some pics someone posted here a couple of years ago that explain why.

'I snapped a few shots of an (original) "T" ECU and a replacement "K" ECU. It is impossible to connect the k-box because of the change shown. This would require some change to the socket or plug (wiring harness), or perhaps an adapter. The socket affected is the one closer to the passenger side of the car.'
