ECU reset question - my "new" TT has been running on 90 octane New Mexico "premium"...

and now that I have it back in Colorado where premium is 91 octane, will the ECU adapt, or do I need to pull the power so the it will have to re-learn my driving habits and available gas quality? You'd think I'd know this after all these years :-)

It will be fine, going from 90 to 91 will not make a difference

87 to 93 if your in a jam, I would reset. ECU will certainly adapt with 91 from 90.

Most premium here in NM is 91

Was a bit surprised when the 2 stations I stopped at only had 90...

...so I just assumed the previous owner had only that to run on - sounds like maybe not then.

Thx

That's weird. I would have to search pretty hard.....

to find 90 as a premium here. 91 is the norm. At least here in albuturkey.
