Default Electronic issues

I recently have started having some problems with some of my interior electronics on my 2000 Audi TT Quattro-1.8L. When any of the doors are open, it does not indicate on the instrument cluster that a door is open; when the door is closed, the lock/unlock button will not work and the red light on the button is illuminated; none of my roof top electronics work once the door is closed, i.e., dome light, vanity mirror lights, or the motion sensor which is also causing the anti-theft system to not arm. I cannot find any fuses that are fried am at a loss of where to look next. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Covered dozens of times here. The microswitch on the door latch assembly is likely bad. Or, the wiring between it and the control module it is connected to. Doorman sells the assembly for VW Beetles of that year that you can "frankenstein" to repair yours. Or source a microswitch from Digi-Key. Or, the best way is to replace the door latch assembly. But, that gonna cost ya!

Yes it will affect.
No, your fob won't work until you reprogram.
Buy the service manual for your vehicle for details.

I replaced the door latch assembly and still have the same issue. I did run a diagnostic on the car and it gave two faults for the central locking-could not activate deadbolt on drivers door. And, the same for the passenger door. I'm wondering if there is a relay somewhere else on the car that could be causing issues. I had previously run a diagnostic scan on the car and it had gave me an error (in which I did not write down the code as I should have) that said something about a ground on terminal 15. I have looked through my service manual and cannot find anything in regards to such a terminal. Would you happen to know what that means or what it is referring to?
