In without too much trouble. Now to hook every thing up.
Then on to the timing belt project next week.

Default What year is that? When I was in my teens and 20's my Grandfather had several

antique cars.

1911 Model T Touring Car
1928 Model A Pickup
1931 Model A Roadster
1930 Model A Coupe
1936 Airstream
1947 Plymouth Coupe

and a few others that I am sure I forgot. I remember spending one entire summer tearing down flathead four engines trying to find a block without a crack in it.

Default What details would you like?

1924
40 horse power 4 cylinder
2 speed planetary transmission
2,439,000 built in 1924 (VW wished that had that number with the total TT run.)
cost: $249. in 1924 adjusted to approx. $3200. in 2007 US dollars. That was without the top or spare tire. Both of which I have.
This was the best selling model of the best selling car in history and not one person in 10,000 can get behind the wheel and drive it today.

Hint: there are three pedals, none of which are the gas.

Anyone who comes to my house driving a TT will get "free, behind the wheel" driving lessons on my Model T.

I guaranty that it will rank as one of the most memorable driving experiences you will ever have.

Default And where do you live - I would love to just see it, and then drive it.

This is just absolutley awesome. I bet my Dad, who passed in March, learned to drive on something like this.

This is a very special car. I guess you know that.
