Default Euro Mirrors Worth It or Not?

First does anybody who has these mirrors feel that they were worth the expense. Second, how much is the cost, where do you get them and is the install tough.

I HIGHLY recommend the euro mirrors. I purchased mine from stratmosphere.com for $150. I had my local Audi dealership install it for me (slipped the mechanic $10 while it was in for maintanence). As far as worth it.....I look at it this way, it's much cheaper than my insurance deductible if I were to hit someone that could be in my blind spot and cannot see. They do make driving around alot easier and no more stiff neck for having to look to the side of the car several times before a lane change. Stratmosphere stated they tested the mirrors and could not find a blind spot at all while using them. Hope my suggestions help.

Perhaps the best mode I've done, as it could save your life. Virtually eliminates the blind spots, and I think these mirrors should be mandatory in the U.S.

These are especially important in the TT, due to the large blind spots (the TTR is worse than the TTC which is also pretty bad).

I think the best way to install them is to show up unannounced at a dealer's service department and ask if they can show you how to put them on. Chances are that they'd probably do it for you for free.

Default Absolutely the best. They come standard in Europe.

When I switched from the TT to the 32, I really missed them. Finally found someone on the Benz forum who lives in the UK, and he bought them for me at his dealer and shipped them to me. I even gave up the auto dimming feature on the US version of the drivers' side mirror on the 32 for the increased visibility.

Easiest place to get them is from Strat unless you know someone in Germany.
