Default Is everyone with PSS-9's getting new springs? If not... what are you going to do?

I have heard that there are refunds (not an option as labor is a b!tch and I want the springs on). Or some kind of redesign (how and what?).

Default Most Certainly...

I plan to have my springs replaced. Hope they aren't rushing to another faulty design. Although my springs are collapsed my car handles superb. I haven't heard of a refund but if that is an option labor should be included.

Default your car should handle superbly

i am on the list mainly for the increased spring rate. the spring is just like it was when it was stock, they're not collapsing. they do sit in coilbind, which IS a weird design. they DO get clunking under hard, quick compressions...which is stupid and the other reason i want the new ones. i've never been into progressive springs and am excited about the new ones being stiffer and linear.

Default I talked with Bilstein today and they say the springs are not faulty.

They are actually testing to see what causes the clunking sound. I have one that clunks and the other one does not.

Bilstein says they will replace the springs if the clunking cannot be fixed.

I had a very long discussion and felt it was not good to pitch a fit, but listen. As a mechanical engineer I cannot imagine a design where three coils sit on top of each other, but Bilstein said H&R purposely designed it that way. The odd thing is that H&R is redesigning the spring.

I want the clunking to go away and I want non rusting springs that behave as springs should.

I got the same answer from Bilstein, they claim that the rear springs were design that way.

Default So how do we get onto this "list" for the new springs. And if they are different why don't they do

the front also?
