Default everyone seems to love the SO-3's but...

a friend of mine has gone through 3 rear pairs of them in his S2000- i know my 225 is AWD but i don't know if i want those tires if they'll wear out sig faster than rossos or pilot sports- i've even considered the contisport contact 2. through my searches it seems that the S03's tend to wear out about 5000 miles quicker than most of the others.

Treadlife (or lack ther of) is the only negative aspect of those tires, but they ROCK!

Default Of course it was French... I was responding to Colette (Les Miserables)....

You New Yorkies should be in tune with Broadway references.

I was/am in tune with the reference, but with you it most likely was a typo! lol

Default S-03s are great, but if you don't want the absolute best performance...

...You can find a much cheaper tire that will last a lot longer at the cost of performance.

Default There are always pros and cons...Any feedback about Good Year Eagle GSD3? -->

Better grip -> Faster wear out ;-))

I also have a side question: Does anyone could provide some feedback re the new Good Year Egale GSD3? The local Good Year delar tried to brainwash me about the GSD3 - they showed me "indipendent" tests that prove superiority over the SO3s?!? I still think the the S03 is unbeatable, at least so far...
