Default Fender bender on way home tonight . . .

Just sitting in traffic, nothing moving in front of me and someone comes up behind me not paying attention and slammed on the brakes and hit my bumper. Just slightly hit it but we pulled off the road and I took all of his information and took a picture of the slight damage - the car that hit me had a front license plate frame that basically made an indentation in my bumper. It did not break through the paint. Should I have this looked at? I'm assuming I should call my agent in the morning but this will file against the other guy's insurance, right? Anyone out there have any minor mishaps like this before? Oh and yes I know my car is very dirty. Thanks for any help.

Bummer! Maybe he'll pay w/out going thru insurance. You can file with the police just in case.

Default Just about the same thing happened to me.

I was sitting in traffic and the car behind me tried to pull around, she miss judged and scraped bottom of the bumper, it only cast $250 to have it fixed. Looks good as new.
