a few suspension upgrade questions
I am hoping someone can help with these questions regarding HR coilovers vs HR spring / Bilstein dampers. I am currently driving road only, no track, but that will hopefully be changing in the spring. I am ready to upgrade the suspension and need some guidance.
1.What is the minimum height adjustment for the coilovers i.e. how close to stock can I adjust them
2.Which would provide the best handling on bumpy, poorly maintained roads
3.Is the additional expense of the coilovers worth it if you are spending most of your time on the road
4.Are there rear camber issues with the coilovers
5.Recommendations for where to purchase
Any general input/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: a few suspension upgrade questions
I have had the H&R coilovers on my coupe for about 3 months. I am not sure I can answer all of your questions but I will try.
1) I think you can get the ride height just about stock. I lowered mine about 1".
2) Not a clue
3) I think so!! My 225hp coupe feels like a go-cart the way it handles.
4) YES !! Way out of whack.
5) I bought and had mine installed at AWE in Philadelphia, PA. Called on Tuesday, made appointment for Friday, waited about 3 hours while they did the job. They did a fine job, as far as I am concerned.
There is still a significant thump ( feels like the rear tires are going to come through the trunk) when I hit a "sharp" bump.
I still Highly recommend the H&R setup.
