My son thinks his clutch in his 150K 225 is going bad and got sticker shock: $2500 from his indie. Am curious what people (calling the Bally’s) on south bend or valeo kits are?

edit: dealer quoted 5K!!!

It IS a big job. I think I paid about $1200. at my Indy a couple of years ago. We reused my dual mass flywheel as it looked good.

Thanks for the response. This is the first big maintenance he has done on his dime on the car and just got sticker shock. He went and looked around a little at new and used cars (newer TT's, Mk 2 TTRS, Golf R GTI), and decided his was worth fixing. He spent $3200 with all new OEM components including the flywheel. He is amazed at the difference it made.
