Finally!
The body shop has finally released my car after holding it hostage for 39 days. I took the afternoon off yesterday to put the car through the paces and make sure that everything was in proper working order.
Hitting that curb cost me $4,997 and some odd cents. Well, it cost me $250 but that was the total bill. Steering rack, new front brakes, two new wheels, and some front axle work. Painful memory but it looks to be 100% now - even though the weather in DC is crappy I detailed it yesterday.
I can once again sleep comfortably at night knowing that the TT is ensconced in the garage instead of up on a strange lift in pieces.
