Default Finally

Afte 29 days I finally have my TT back. The Hazard Light Switch was replaced twice. The Master Cylider was replaced (this is the second time I've had the MC replaced in 5 months) along with the Tube Line. The hold up was the 1 week back order for the Tube Line and MC and the 2 week back order for the breather (clutch bleeder). I spoke with the service manager about why they don't have every tool (like the breather). From what I gathered, they have all the primary tools, but Audi doesn't supply them with every single tool they could possibly need. Is this true? If so, why? That seems, ummm, kinda stupid. Especially since the dealership provided me with a loaner for 30 days at 30 bucks a day (which they paid for, and I didn't buy my car there).

Oddly enough, after being rather pissed about this whole situation, I got into my car and instantly realized why I love this car. I think Audi customer relations sucks. The car has been anything but reliable. The car isn't exactly the fastest or quickest 'sports car' on the road. But there's something about driving it that, well, makes me want to drive more. Definitely a love/hate relationship. Would I buy one again? Not sure about that. Audi would have to seriously beef up their customer relations and quality control (2 Hazard Light Switches in 1 Repair Sitting and 2 Master Clutch Cylinders in 5 months. What's up with that?).

Oh, and I love driving stick. I've read everything about the new automatic transmission for the 2004 TT. But I don't think the sensation will be equivalent to actually downshifting (manually) as you enter a turn or speeding down the highway in 4th as you top it out to go into 5th (or 6th if you have the 225). But that's just my opinion.

Default i had to wait 4 days to get a Hazard light switch for my allroad...

weird, because the tech guy at Audi dealer says that there's been alot of these going out...and its tied to the turn indicators...aparantly, the relay is built into the hazard switch..at least on the allroad...but seems to be the same for the TT as well.

what's really odd is why Audi doesn't stock these at all the dealers...besides being a hazard to drive, excuse the pun.
