Financing a 180TT or Lease a 225TT
Hey Audians,
Trying to do some research on pros and cons on leasing or finance to own.
This is what happened. Unfortunatley I had a chance to drive the 225TT and now I am in Luv. So I'm in a dilemma. I don't wanna spend 40Gs on the 225. The only way I can have it is to Lease it. The other route is I can finance to own the 180TT, cuz then I can mod it.
I could mod the 180TT and get it up to about 225 right and wouldn't the performance be close if not better than a stock 225TT.
would advice if any could you give me?
Thanks

Hey you VR6 Owner get outta here!! j/k its VR6 CABBY
I saw your message and I remember you talking about driving one (on the vortex).....lol now you got the fever for the flavor of the Audi
Here is my view on the whole thing...
If you plan not to do anything to the TT then you may want to consider leasing the car so that you can afford the 225 and get the best bang for your buck
If you however would like to own the car and have the ability to do what you want to it then I say setlle for the 180hp (it ain't no slouch) and have a field day because anything that is an option for the 225 can be done on the 180
Now all you have to do is see if you can afford Quattro
good luck

Re: Financing a 180TT or Lease a 225TT
I had the same dilemma a few months ago, and am now the proud leasee of a 225 coupe. If nothing else, you can't replicate the six-speed on a 180. I personally would never spend 30K+ for a car that I would have to modify to make me happy.
