Default Fog Lights- Pole

It seems to me that more and more people are driving with their fog lights on at night when there is no fog. I personnally find this added illumination distracting and at least in my local it is illegal. Unfortunately I do not believe it is a law that is being enforced.

Does anyone else feel that people driving with their fog lights on at night when there is no fog is a problem?

I have this pole in my backyard that might just fit your fog light.

Default I know you meant poll, and dude, this is a major pet peve of mine. The way I see it....

...people run their fogs because a) they think all those "snazzy" lights look COOL b) they think all those "snazzy" lights make them LOOK cool or c) They have rationalized that they are "driving" lights and help them see better at all times. NONE of these things are cool and I think fog lights make a car look dorky. I never, ever drive with fogs on unless it's foggy.

Default i always try my best to either drive behind ocTTober with my fog lights on, or in front of him...

on i-95 at about 35 mph in the far left lane! we marylanders sure know how to drive.

Default Fog lights don't bother me because, as I undestand it,

they project a beam, downward, not too far ahead of the car. It's the idiots with those driving lights that bother me. They usually have their high-beams on in addition to their driving lights.
Very considerate.

Default I re-wired them as my DRL...

I think they're hot (just have to get around to changing my bulbs.)

Default IMHO it just makes them look like morons.

Not distracting, just morons.

As I always sarcastically say to my wife "Wow! Look how foggy it is out! I can hardly see!"

It's not illegal but it makes you look like and idiot that thinks fog lights "look cool."
