Chris Bangle's hands are clearly evident in this new iteration of the old e36/7 platform. Enjoy (or not). All of the roundels are covered in black tape.

The rear 3/4 shot is VERY S2000 - IMO. Still, an improvement, a better brand of clown shoe... ;-)

Default You mean, if like Rockport made clown shoes that's what they would look like? ;-) I agree, very

S2000, very uninspired. After seeing the new 7-series, and now this car, it seems obvious that BMW is firmly committed to making the ugliest rears of any automaker on the planet.

IMO, BTW, FYI. :-P

Default Ok, ok - you'll have to forgive me a little early Tuesday hyperbole - it's the second most beautiful

thing ever after this....

Hey, not to cross posts, but what about this favorite little guy of yours? Do you think that response would be NEARLY as amusing if it featured a crust-looking ol' cat? I think not; that's just the look you expect from cats... :-p

Default It's hard to see in pic #2 because of the side mirror, but if you look closely...

...the "flame surface" lines along the side of the car actually form a "Z". The center of the "Z" is covered up with black tape (under which lies a BMW roundel).
