Default Forge Diverter valve Spring ???

I just got my FDV in the mail, and it shipped with the tuning springs. I was wondering what the performance differenerces are whith each color/sized ring? It shipped w/ the green ring in, and shipped a yellow and a blue with it.

Thanks for helping a newbie guys!

Default No performance difference...>

You want the lightest spring that will hold boost. As Joe mentioned, it's usually green + 1 or 2 shims. Pay no attention to the PSI guidelines Forge gives you..

Default Re: Stock = green, chipped green plus 1 to 2 shims

so what are the other springs for? Higher boost aplications?

i.e. If I were running 20psi or something...

Default i have found yellow works the best for me, mods:

225 w/GIAC x+ intake, exhaust

green and green +1 shim would not hold higher boost (21 psi spikes)

Default My Forge 007 with a green spring and 1 shim holds fine at that boost level

the yellow was throwing codes on the N249 as it wasn't allowing it to open enough under vacuum.
