Forge DV-R diaphragm lasted 3 weeks.
I know this has been highly documented and Forge gladly (and thankfully) will send customers replacement diaphragms. Just the same, I thought I'd share that I started to get the DV "flutter" sound a couple of days ago and after doing some research it seemed somewhat normal for DV-R users. I thought I check it out instead of simply settle for normal and here's what I found:

I have the valve in the stock orientation now and am hoping relocating and re-orienting it will help those diaphragms last a little longer. So, if you are getting that flutter sound as you release the gas, be sure to check that diaphragm. I had the Hyperboost from Strat - piston type -
and it was not working well for me so I switched to the forge with the diaphragm and it works great when the diaphragm is new. I'll stick with this for awhile. Once it's relocated it'll be easier to change out the torn diphragms!
