Default I don't have any idea . . .

I have not gotten the updated piston. I saw them at Mike's house. They were round and black. Is that what the originals look like? lol

I would NOT reuse one of the original o-rings. Call Pete and tell him the package was damaged and you need a new set of o-rings.

Default My box came with....

New piston, 2 Rings, and a bag of grease. I did the upgrade without removing the DV from the engine. You can just unbolt the top and pop it off. Replace the insides and screw the top back on. My DV is a real pain to get out of the car because the hoses hold it so tightly.

I didn't replace the o-rings because the original ones looked fine. My DV was not failing, and the new rings are no different from the originals. I figured I would do more harm trying to get the new rings in the DV, so I left them alone.

I just greased up the new piston and put the DV back together. The car started up and ran fine. Drove about 40 miles last night on it.
