I BLEW MY DV!

I am conviced I actually blew the DV up. My car is now honking too! lol I was in 3rd gear on some short straights at 7000 at around 90, it was faster than shifting into 4th and backl to 3rd for the corner. I tried both. Since I was never below 4000 at any point on the track and the wind noise above 80mph makes it too difficult to hear the engine, let alone the DV I didn't hear it until after I got off the track and took a short drive. Then I heard that distinctive sound . . .POP! Honk! lol

I will be making an appt to get it replaced by Audi before I put in my Bailey DV.

I am also going to go out and check all of my hoses to see if that might be the cause for me horrbile brakes. I might just have a pressure leak somewhere. I will let everyone know.

Default Jeff did really well . . .

I never saw him on the track as we are in 2 different run groups. From what he said he did really well.

He went through his RedBox pads . .. down to the backing plates! He totally trashed his pads and just about ruined his rotors. Jeff is now running my stock pads on his A4 1.8t! lol

Default Thanks for the write up!

I did the glen with Trackmasters in June with my TTQ. Your write is perfect description of the track! Nice to know I wasn't the only one with problems with turn one. I didn't hit the gravel but I came darn close.<p>JHC
