After doing searches on cold weather boost loss, it seems the concensus opinion is that the ECU dials back boost in colder temps. This is done in order to keep cylinder cranking pressures consistant. Colder ambient temps. mean denser air which requires less boost to achieve the same cranking pressures. Seems to make sense, guess I'll have to wait untill the spring thaw to find out.

Is you can make the seasonal adjustments easily to keep things constant throughout the year. Just turn the regulator 1/2 turn or so......:-)
