Default Fracking CEL
Anyone care to guess whether this VAG-COM-less TT driver is experiencing a CEL because his sister filled the car up with Mississippi Truck Juice (a.k.a. "No-name service station Regular gas) while borrowing the car, or is it likely something more sinister?

Car's down on power. Will fill with Super in the morning...and yes, I've been watching too much BSG.

May be misfires from the cheap gas. Go to AutoZone, they'll read the code for free

Default it's probably the gas. car should ping like crazy from the lower octane
and i'd strike my sister if she did that to my car!

Default Yep, the ecu is probably pulling timing way back and dumping fuel to compensate.
Next mod: sister upgrade.
