Default Friends went to track yesterday.......mmm XR chips rule

my buddy who definately isn't into the 1/4mile stuff got talked into going to the track. he's still learning and was pulling consistent 2.0 60fts. car is a 2002 TT 225 coupe. mods are Giac IBE (on XR), APR exhaust, EVOM intake, 006 Forge DV & 100 octane. his best time was a 13.9 at 99.8mph. others there were:
STI with good driver, 14.0 @ 95
E36 with mods, 14.8
S4 with XR, exhaust very low 13s (i wasn't there)

i was very siked for my friend and thought i'd share what power these cars were driving are putting down with some good mods.

Default yes it was a good day ! I was driving the STI .. for all you guys , just info...

the STI is a great car. It was my first time driving it on the track if I had two or three more runs I would of got mid 13s .
The TT with XR did a nice job
Dirtty P did 14.9 ( X , evo , 101 oct )and lost the race with the E36 : ( BTW his car dosen't run good , Dirtty fix your car !!!
The S4 driver was a tool he got 13.2 with many mods !

14.9 with all those mods?? I think Dirty P is running 19 inch wheels which definitely hurt your quarter mile times, but sounds like something else is off.

Default Dirty should check his coolant temp sensor, but he doesn't have that many mods

Xchip and intake really isn't that much. that 101 octane won't yeild a ton either.....until Giac coughs up some more IBEs and Dirty's smiling big.

Default well the all wheel drive on the STI is 60 rr 40 ft , comes with manual or auto...

switch . my 1st run I had it on manual and I was spinning bad my 60'was 2.3 .My 2nd run I had it on auto and I got 1.8 spinning ! car needs drag radials !!! as far as shifting , it has short gears I had to shift to 5th gear but very solid
I would of done mid 13s we found out that the car had a bad BOV
