Anybody have this problem? Going to work this morning, I got out to my car to see ice on my windshield. I scraped it COMPLETELY off. Defrosters were on full blast. I hit the wipers and right behind the rear view mirror was a patch of ice that made the blade skip and shudder over it. Scraped it off CLEAN... I start driving and the same patch showed up again. I pulled over on the highway (got sprayed by passing traffic...not a good morning...) and scraped it AGAIN! My blade got all screwed up in the process! I'm so mad right now...ugh...anyway...4 in. of my right wiper blade is now all screwed up just because of this reoccurring patch of ice behind the rearview mirror. Anyone else have this problem, or is it just an omen from the road/work gods that I should have never gotten out of bed?

when it snowed, the entire windshield was covered with snow *except* for a small patch behind the rearview mirror. Weird huh?
