Default Fvck valet trash pick up

In my condo we have valet trash pickup everynight... I park in the SAME spot every night

Last night I saw the guys pick up trash, walk by my car and the bag brush against the side of the car, I thought... I hope that didn't scratch anything.

This morning I took a look, a NICE 5 inch scrach in the pasengers door. Tried to use a little polish, helped a little, but its too deep

Looks like I'll need a professional buff. Ive never had one so I guess its about that time to get her shinny again anyways!?

Default try a direct drive buffer with some medium cut compound

but have someone who knows what theyre doing do it for you, unless you know how to use one...

it's a super dangerous procedure.

body shop charges I think around $130 for a full detail... I'll have them do it

Default $130 for a full detail is incredibly cheap

full details normally go for 5-800... they should take 1-3 days.

Default hmm>

the right side front fender 'sings' a bit as they put it, has a gritty feel like some type of overspray touched it

He did say the word 'buff' to get it soft and smooth to the touch, and said the $130 price...

I'll have to check with him again, but its a VERY high end shop always with 'crashed' tracked ferraris and such in there

when i brought my B5 A4 in when i took out the guard rail with it i was BY FAR the 'cheapest' car in there :-P

but its nothing i can fight with them over... i have no proof

Run your fingernail over it. If it catches, it is likely so deep it cannot be buffed out
