Geniscan code reader pays for itself

The $59 code readers that someone posted last week work fine. I hit a puddle last night on the right side of the car that felt like I'd down shifted, but only on that side of the car. I immediately got a CEL. The car felt fine, everthing drove ok so I guess the AWD did it's thing just right. Got up this morning and the CEL was still on. Checked the codes and got 17608 and 16795. 17608 doesn't exist on my list but 17609 through 17616 is a Fuel Injector Circut Electrical Malfunction, so I'm guessing it got some water on it. 16795 is Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow. I opened the hood and the TTDA was slightly off the MAF holder. I guess when the car slowed, the TTDA shifted. Cleared codes and all wwas well.

cleared codes, but did you reset throttle adaption?

if you didn't reset throttle, you are due for CEL soon.

No, thanks for reminding me. Will do tomorrow.

I did drive to and from work (total about 50 miles) on Saturday and again on Sunday. No CEL so far.
