Default get a 2006 or wait for 2007?

I currently have a B6 A4, and I'm really thinking about adding a TT to my collection. (the fun impracticle car...) Should I try and get one of the last '06 TT's with the original styling, or hold out for the new '07 model. The new interior looks great, especially the way they integrated the nav, but I love the exterior styling of the original. Pricing wise, I'm sure that I could get an '06 or even a slightly used '05 for a lot less. Another question, manual or DSG. Haven't driven either, so don't really know how to compare. Thanks in advance for the inputs.

I would suggest a CPO 2005 (or even 2006 if you can find one).

If you can get a killer deal on a MkI, consider it. Otherwise, wait. DSG is great BTW.

make sure you get the DSG. One day all cars will have this! I think its even better than CVT.

Default Its all about the design and look you like. Forget resale, price, etc.

I think the new TT is weak looking, so for me it would'nt be a option. Resale and what is worth is horable with any AUDI model. Audi's just tank in the resale dept so you have to pick a car that apeals to your passion and not your checkbook.

I hope they all don't someday. They don't have the same feel of connectoin with the car.

I hope all cars dont all have DSG one day. Nice, but rowing gears is still preferred.

Default Well, for the existing TT, the choice is really different. Since only the 3.2 has DSG...

...it's really about how tunable you want it. The 3.2 has a bit more oomph out of the box, but the 225 feels a bit sportier & is much easier to tune.

Default You notice how CVT is creeping into all manufacturers models.

You can kiss the old auto goodbye and say hello to more CVT and DSG.
You want manual? It should stay only because it cheaper for the moment.
