Getting lost in the forum....Any suggestions!
This might sound really stupid, but having trouble keeping up with some posts...Someone will create a post and after getting several replies I seem to get lost over time...The posting seems out of order or something. I have used other sites that post a question and people reply but shows inside that post question. (If that makes sense)? Just seems like everyone responds with another post of there own under the original question..Brighthand.com for pocket pc has an excellent set up for posting thats easy to follow...Dont get me wrong I love this site just would like some suggestions to make for easier reading...

What are your preferences set to?
And for you A4 freaks, I was talking about the preferences of the forums!
anyway, there is a method to the madness, and once you understand it, it is not too bad. I too complained when I 1st got here but after a while, it just becomes second nature..
The best advice I can offer is to see how a longer thread unfolds, that way you can follow what responses go to which posts

yeah also check if you want or dont want to view off topic posts,
some people like auto chat only and some like both auto chat and community conversations...but the option is there if you want it.. seriously though as far as forums car for car stuff...this one seems to have the best user interface..like ti better than vortex for finding stuff..

Peedy...do this...
Click on preferences at the bottom of the page. You will see several boxes with check marks in them - Make sure the "Collapse All Threads" is unchecked and then check the box that says "Show all of Thread instead of single messages". Hopefully this will solve your dilemma with viewing individual postings. When you open a post, you will be able to see everyone's responses without having to click on each persons post. Hope this helps you out!

Another box to check is "Show oldest replies first"
That way, the newest posts are at the bottom of each thread of messages and should follow in a chronological fashion. Otherwise, after a while - everything becomes one garbled mess!

Hey...ya learn something new every day!
The only time it gets confusing is when someone write - oh, see my post below(within the same thread), when in fact it is above as they posted it prior - aside from that, works like a charm!
