Going to Sonora Pass in the morning (with my bad DV) fully loaded with climbing and camping gear...

I am going to be meeting up with about 25 other people 7 miles passed the summit on the left 2 mile down this dirt road. Does anyone have a link to some good climbing routes around there? Also with that much wieght, what tire presure should I be running?

Well, if you are not a wimp, you should not be too overloaded with the simple need to carry only
some light climbing shoes. Only kidding - too many free climbers die, such as a friend of mine that fell off a mountain the summer before last.

Re: 9,000 feet? That's the bottom of the pass, right? (Silverton, CO 9318 elev.)

I absolutely love Silverton....I went Jeeping up a few of the....
not so well-kept roads to about 13,500. What a great place. The lil town is cool too.
