<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/43750/rabbitt_gt.jpg"></center><p>this was a rabbittL that was given to me by my cousin for free when my 16vgti was stolen from some months earlier...I turned this plain jane 1 barrled carb rabbit into a poor mans gti...all you see that is black,I painted...inc. the hood...I added a 5spd tranny from a rab. gti...lowering springs bilsteins,,stress bars...brospeed headers and a techt. exhaust...I also swapped the one barrel for a 2 barrel weber kit,wth manifold.....the gti wheels were raggetty,so I painted them enamel black and did some Jackson pollack wth red to the wheels....it was fun...she already ad gti seats...

the orignal GTI. Great car. I almost bought one my self...but decided on an 78 Audi 5000 instead.
That was the 1st of 6 Audis that I've owned.

IT WAS GREAT,ROBBY... I probably added another 20-25 hp to it...it was a fun beater car...
I had the orig. us 83 rabbitt gti blk wth blu int......loved it!!less than 2000 ilbs!wish I had had a turbo in that baby!!!
