Default Good Morning All

Since I have an 180hp TT the driver side opening behind the mesh is completely blocked off. I did an search using different words combo but couldn't find anything on unblocking the mesh in order to install cold air inlets. I do remember some discussion about this but was unable to locate that post. My question is will it do any harm do to unblock this mesh?

TIA Ken

Default Morning - no harm - this is the place you want to feed an intake - High Pressure, cool air >

Default Thanks, I know my TTDA will enjoy the fresh air

just been holding off because it was blocked. I saw that those with a 225 were running their inlets to this location and actually looks like it will be an easy install. I got some extra tubing from Steve in order to complete this mod.

Thanks again
Ken

Not too hard, if you're going behind the fender liner, a little "snipping" is required

Default Dremel out, drill out, or chisel out. If me, I would.....

go for drilling each one out and then placing grill over a rounded surface and using a sharp chisel, just whack out the remaining bits.

mesh has a soild piece behind it which blocks air flow. I can remove the mesh and see if the I can also removed the backing.
