i want to mount an ipod in my '01 roadster. i got an arkon pedestal and cradle. the cradle is fine. the pedestal glues onto the side of the right hand aluminum thingy that is near the passenger seat--it's a bit wobbly, tho

i see that arkon has a gooseneck adapter that screws onto a seat bolt. is this doable in my car? i looked briefly, but damned if i couldn't even <find> a visible seat bolt!

any ideas? anyone used this? it's the cm-88, fwiw

It came with a disk that the arm attaches to. The disk has a little adhesive on the back, that stuck just fine to the leather knee bolster piece on the passenger side. $20. Works great, a little wobbly, but not bad at all, especially since it is all reversible. One of these days I'll take pics
