Got me a busy couple of weeks ;-)

Have you found a suitable drive belt for your underdrive pulleys?? They
look very nice. I know what the other trix are, except for the black valve. Presume that's the N75. Would you recommend doing that on an "undermodded car" like mine IYHO ??

The pulleys according to Tom wont need replacement belts as they
Are more for weight reduction that true underdrive...I recall only 5-10% being the case..
They weight next to nothing...I have heard that the OEM pulleys can weigh up to 6 pounds in total...Hmmm,
M,
Yeah N75 Race valve...reputedly 7-9 more pounds of boost in the midrange...Havent installed it yet due to wanting to get VAG readings before and after to confirm any gains...and not dupe anyone into buying something strictly on my say so ;-)
According to Tom its complements Stage 3 pretty well...we shall see /:-)

I was really interested in the pulleys, and read all the>>
stuff on the Unorthadox Racing site I believe it was. They did mention that most of the HP gains are a result of lightening the pylleys and not actually the size. But if they are all 5-10% different in size, I'll bet that adds up to a smaller belt. Use Gates if you find that you need to replace it, or an Audi part which is shorter. BUT! Good luck finding an Audi part which is smaller unless you can find the part number yourself!
Can't wait to see how this next round of mods comes out.

Good, I am waiting on your opinion on a couple of these things.....
I really like the mister idea, I would like to see it done again. Actually, I just might need to see it for my damn self real soon!
I dunno about the pulleys for me, at least maybe not with this clutch/flywheel setup. It is already a little tricky with 12 lbs flywheel. I might be concerned about running the A/C with the lightened flywheel and pulleys. I hope you really like them and they do feel a gain, that might just settle it for me =-D

that is so cool, one day I want to have one of those.....
but while I am dreaming about it, I might like one Jiffy Lube style with a lift like they use when it is on the alignment rack. <aaaaaah> maybe one day, in the meantime, that is going to be real cool!

wow, need to hear more about the N75, I have heard no more than
2-3 lbs additional... on top of 23psi. 9 lbs would mean like 31psi <ouch> I think my motor is stout but I dunno 'bout that kinda boooshht through mein GT-25
25-26psi on 93 octane tho'....hhhmmmm....That I may consider, let me know on the ECS....oh, and I would like to see you do them at different times so that you could analyze each of them for what they do....
