Greetings everyone!
Well, I guess that it's about time that I stop lurking on this forum and finally introduce myself...
Hi! My name is James and I've been the proud owner of an '02 225 Moro/Aviator TTQR for the past 1 year, 3 months, and 29 days (yes I do have the anniversary in my calendar).
I have to say that it feels great to have found this forum, it has been an incredible source of information about the TT (as a result I've meticulously devised my list of future mods - already have a Strat. headliner (starting out small!)), it has been a depot of startling images that have COMPLETELY taken over my wallpaper, screensaver, and most of my disk space, and a place that's filled with people that love their TTs as much as I do (you guys have been a regular support group for me - heck, some of you seem like celebrities!).
My goal is to learn EVERYTHING about my baby - I don't look at her as a car, she is something that has brought me so much joy and excitement, and so much zen-like peace and reflection - it's great that, over a year later, I still catch myself smiling when I hit a corner just right, or shoot off a light with a perfect launch - sometimes just when the wind is blowing in my face I'll start to laugh. I would never trade my car for anything in the world, and I actually look forward to taking care of her into old age (and I've NEVER done much work on a car outside of routine maint)...
and I can say, that with the guidance I've gotten from you guys (and some girls!) - I know that I will get there.
