Default HACK THS, EconomisTT, AkRascal...another pic of the shift light install...

sorry did not get to this last night...got distracted. The install is very straight forward...unit works off of the electrical system and related engine electrical system freguency modulation so accessing the drivers side fuse site and attaching there is convenient and since the light is tucked in the drivers side windshield frame base it is a neat install. I adhered (kit comes with two sided foam tape)controller to fuse site cover so if you want to change light intensity or when light is activated at what rpm..just pop open cover and adjust...easy.

Default Michael, what kind of place are you going to go to do your 0-60 runs?

Dave and I had our G-Techs with us yesterday but really couldn't find any appropriate places to do a run.

Default Um... what's a shift light?

Is that the transmission equivalent of the little buzzer on your microwave that tells you when your Hungry Man "Salisbury Steak" (TM) is properly heated? Forgive me... I'm still very much an ignoramus when it comes to my baby's guts.

Default You calibrate it to your engine timing and then set it at an RPM level where you would..

....like to shift gears. The light then comes on and let's you know it's time to shift. You try to set it at an optimal point in the power curve so you maximize your acceleration potential.
