Had a nice drive in this morning. A GTI was playing with me...
30ish guy in a white, late model GTI was playing Saran Wrap with me around the back roads. I kept pulling ahead after each hard turn, then he'd catch up with me on straight and uphill stretches. It was actually a very enjoyable drive.
When we later merged on the Merritt, he actually opened a space for me to merge. Very neat. No competitiveness at all - just a sort of "thanks for the fun drive" gesture. Too bad there aren't more people like that on the road.
