Moral to that story is don't skimp on the changes...!
H-Wrench and my filler rig through the level plug worked great...

How full do you fill through the level check hole. I know that the Bentley say to check the level when the Temp is above 25C. Do you just fill it until it over flows and then dab a bit of fluid out?

i bought mine used with 59k 2000 quattro and i drive a lot ... i'm now at 72k and wondering if i should go to audi for this so called haldex fluid? or not? i did buy an extended warrenty with my car though.

it should have been done at the 60K tune up. If you took it in......>
It is not hard to do. A couple of people sell the kits so you don't have to get the fluid and filter from the dealer. EIP tuning and ECS tuning sell them that I know of. Also they sell the wrenches you will need. Steve Schwing sells a wrench as well. TTschwing that is
