Default Audi didn't bring them to the US...mostly private parties

Find them here and there on Ebay. If you were to import one it'd be a few thousand dollars with shipping and taxes.

Default Don't forget the hardware...

one of the reasons it never caught on wss the needed installation of thicker isertion pins and brackets to support the extra weight. Audi typicallly chose to save a couple bucks per car rather than using the hardware in stock form
ebay is a good place to look but they have actually gone up in value. Some day the top will be worth more than the car.

Where is the softtop? Folded up in the boot area the entire time? Can't be good for it.

Default Your best chance is to import one from abroad....find the hardware kit first

when I got my top I ended up with 2 brackets for the drivers side - it took a good amount of searching to find the passenger side bracket, so much that that I started fabricating one.

Good Luck with your search - The tops great in the winter too!

Mine was folded for 5 months this winter - I just make sure it's dry and I've never had an issue.

Default I use raggtop protectant before its folded in the boot...

And take off the hard top and raise it periodically to give it some air.
Its in better condition than my friend's which is exposed to snow and salty ice all winter.
