Default Has Anyone Stripped all carpet and side panels on inside of the TT Coupe???....

My TT is coming up on 100K and I wanta do a complete clean out, clean up, get some stereo stuff finished up, and maybe even put some dynamat under all carpet, hatch area, and side/door panels.

Wondering if anyone had any pointers, pictures, or experience with doing this.

I plan on keeping the TT for a long time.

TIA

Default John, look at 'Ravens' pic-post here. I saw this car, but did not participate in the stripping.

I bought the complete interior some 4 years ago.

Default I did 2 of them complete strip downs

Take your time buy a panel removal tool you can get it at any auto parts store like pepboys or strauss. Youll bound to break a couple clips buy some plastic epoxy and get a magnet tool to grab clips that fall in the tiny pockets otherwise youll have a rattle or 2. Let me know if you have any other questions. aim: migo1980 or email me.

Dynamat adds 25 lbs if you do entire interior including doors and rear side panels

I will then have to go lose my own weight to equal what I put in it. Not a bad option
