Default Has the following happened to anybody here?

I'm getting out of my TT last night (parked on a slight slope) and I hear a pop. I look back and notice the car has started rolling backwards. Obviously I dive back in and put my foot on the brake. The handbrake (e-brake) button had flung off and therefore released the handbrake. This scares me! Luckily it happened when I was beside the car. Has this happened to anyone else. I remember a previous post a while back regarding this potential disaster!

Default Why was the car not in gear? I have heard of a few people that had this happen to.

Go to the dealer and have them repair it.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=3285"><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/ttsig.jpg" BORDER=0 alt="Click for Mods"></a>

Default Always park with...

The transmission in reverse if you are pointed downhill or the transmission in first if you are pointed uphill. Always park with the e-brake in addition (unless you have been on the track or driving fast)...

This should *not* happen.

Hasn't had a car roll yet,
Cameron

Happened to me on my 2000 TTQ. Fortunately I wasn't on an incline.
