Default .....he tentatively peeks around the corner to see if it's safe.....sshhh....OT - wine bottle

Can anyone give me any tips on removing a wine label from a bottle? I've tried soaking in warm water, breaking, etc. to no avail.

<obligatory TT reference>I drink wine and I own a TT</obligatory TT reference>

Thanks!

Soak it in really hot water (versus warm water).

...but watch it, so that the label doesn't break down.

OcTTober would say a belt sander, but I'd go with hot water or steam.

Default Tenuta San Leonardo Vallagarina 1997 - drank it this weekend...delicious!!!

I haven't had luck in warm water or steam, so I'll give hot a try. Hope it works....thanks for the input.

Default They call it . . . .

Goof-Off. =) The almighty adhesive remover. Local hardware store. Basically a specialized paint thinner. (I think)

Default Haven't found anything that really works yet - try a digital camera - take a photo
