Headlight issue...

Only illuminates when doors are locked and unlocked. Just flash once like its supposed to. DOES NOT illuminate when driving.

Parking lamp bulb is burnt out. Same thing happened to me on the weekend.

Parking lamp is separate from the turn signal lamp. It uses a H6W bulb. You can find them at your dealership although check with the local VW or Mercedes dealership as they may be cheaper. You can change it yourself or have the dealership do it if under warranty. The driver's side lamp is harder to get to because the battery is in the way.

It's number 3 in the diagram below. You have to twist the holder number 4 CLOCKWISE to remove the bulb.

i use a secret method on mine>>>

when the lights are on, go and give the lens a medium rap with your hand to see if it comes back on....
bulb replacement part numbers are in the owners manual...

Nice little tap and works like a champ...Funny thing is Stealership would have done the same thing and charged roughly 889.98

But....>

It does mean you have a little connection problem or corrosion....give the holders a turn or remove and clean the connections....or It'll be back !
