Headlight Washers
 

<br>The arms of my headlight washer/sprayer are extending but not spraying washer fluid. The washer fluid reservoir is full, and I've tried them enough to purge the lines. Any suggestions before I make the 120 mile trip to the dealer?<p>Also, has anyone had any luck using the supplied materials to attach the license plate holder? Not sure of the purpose of those pins. Thanks, Scott

You may be lucky. When the headlight washers work, they spray fluid all over the hood if there is any sort of wind! Be careful what you wish for.<p>As for the license plate, those are rivets. Following is a URL to Audi's technical bulletin site. Midway down is a PDF file that gives step by step directions. I printed it out and brought it to the Audi dealer to do (since they have the appropriate tool for the rivets). Since the "insert" snaps off the bumper, I had them snap it off and put the plate on during the day and took the car with me. I think I recall hearing that the hoses connecting the washers to the fluid resevoir have been disconnecting on some TTs. You should check the archives for info.<br>John P.
