Default Help identify this dash error light

Anyone help me out with this one. Didn't see it in the manual and can't find it online.

Of course a working lcd would help see it better. Thanks again Audi...

Thanks

Looks like a defective head light or tail light.

Thanks. That makes sense. Just can't seem to find that pic documented anywhere. It was throwing me off.

Page 114 of owners manual. Little difficult to make out with the missing pixels.

The brake light failure has an extra set of semi circles page 112.

Default Headlignt and/or tail light is defective

I have a 2000 TT and on page 110 of the owner's manual there are several 'Yellow Symbols (priority 2)' listed. Looking at your picture, I'm guessing there is a large 'X' drawn through the symbol and the only possibility is the symbol that looks like a light bulb (with the socket at the top and the glass part at the bottom of the drawing) with an X through it.
I hope this helps.
Steve
PS. My display is malfunctioning too, but not as severely. I only have 19k miles on it so it is a matter of time and environment that kills it. There was a class action law suit, but I didn't qualify because mine took too many years to start acting up!

im on my 3rd or 4th gauge cluster...I lost count. Thankfully they were always changed under warranties but the last one only lasted 5k miles so I took it back to the dealer...since it was 2.5 years old they said they couldnt cover it so I called Audi of America and biiiiiiittttttccccchhhhhheeeeeeedddddd!
They sold me the new cluster at 50% and charged me the labor!
