Help! Interior of 2003 TT keep getting super hot
I've searched all over to see if someone else had a similar issue but to no avail. The inside of my 03 roadster, especially by my feet, keeps getting really hot. Even with the a/c and heat off, after about 30 mins of driving I can feel some heat coming thru the top left and bottom vents on the driver's side, and the gearstick also gets really hot. It's to the point where my feet are sweating profusely, which sounds funny but it's unbearable and has never happened in all the years I've had the car. Even with the top and windows down I can feel the heat. What I don't understand is that the temperature gauge is directly in the middle, it never indicates that it's overheating even slightly. So, is it technically overheating? Where and why is this heat coming through and how do I stop it? I had someone at a shop look at it last month and they added more coolant and for a couple weeks it stopped, but now I'm looking and it looks like he actually overfilled the coolant by a lot... which could very well be causing some heat now, but it was there before the coolant overfilled too. So I have no idea what to do. Thanks

Does the heat/AC control appear to function normally? if so, you may have a stuck heat control valve. Otherwise, the control head is probably defective. You need to run a diagnostic scan with VAG-COM software & interface or the genuine VW/Audi tool.
