help! my glove box latch has come off (something that has happend to others)...
 

do you know how to either:
1) reattach it?; or
2) get into the glove box without the latch? (without doing even more damage)

I got it.....not sure about how to open it though...sorry

very simple to open without the latch . . . wanna know how?
 

You will see a black piece of plastic about 1/2" long with a slit in it. This piece runs horizontally. You need to llift the right side of it and pull it towards you. The box will open.

Mike has been without his latch for over 6 months, so I have opened his glovebox on a few occasions. Very easy to do once you get the hang of it.

Push the plastic piece where the latch was, to the left...(I Think)
 

Also, look at the door. One or both of the small plastic tabs have broken off.
They are about 1/8" x 1/8".
Your glove box door will need to be replaced.
